1,000 kg of Plastic Prevented!
Through its Plastic Removal Pilot with Seven Clean Seas, MPM Products funds the removal of 1,000 kg of ocean-bound plastic every month or 8,000 kg in total across projects in Southeast Asia.
This supports recovery work in Indonesia and Thailand, where plastic from areas without proper waste management is collected, processed, and certified before it can reach the ocean.

How it works
We work with Seven Clean Seas, an ocean impact organisation on a mission to remove 100,000,000 kg of ocean plastic pollution from the marine environment by 2030. Through certified recovery projects and local partnerships in high-leakage coastal regions, they prevent plastic pollution at the source while ensuring transparent and measurable impact.
Target
- SCS work with local communities and governments to target locations with exceptionally high levels of ocean plastic pollution.
Collection and Prevention
- Seven Clean Seas deploys local crews to recover plastic from coastal and river communities, creating formal, long-term jobs.
- The organisation implements technologies such as HIPPO, OTTER, and river barriers to intercept plastic before it reaches the ocean.
- All eligible projects are independently certified to ensure transparency and measurable impact.
Circularity and Responsible Disposal
- Seven Clean Seas transports recovered plastic to local MRFs to strengthen long-term waste management in high-leakage areas.
- Recyclables are transformed into useful products like roof tiles and building materials to support local circular economies.
- Non-recyclable plastic is sent to certified landfill or approved waste-to-energy facilities to prevent re-leakage.
